After the great success of the first models LKU01 LP La Prima and LKU01, Extrema Ratio in collaboration with Master of Arms Danilo Rossi Lajolo di Cossano presents LKU01 URBAN available in two different colours:
- DARK, MIL-C-13924 burnished blade.
- SIDERAL, blade with sandblast finish.
This model is a perfect combination of refined design and Italian tradition. Characterized by elegant lines that recall the traditional styles of short fencing, LKU01 URBAN is designed to be easily concealed and quick to draw.
The 58 HRC hardened Böhler N690 steel blade ensures a perfect balance between hardness, strength, and resilience. The quick release mechanism allows you to open it quickly with a simple wrist movement.
The particular feature of LKU01 URBAN is the lack of traditional guards that in emergency situations might get caught in clothing fabrics. A reverse guard located directly on the blade has been designed instead.
Its characteristic shape guarantees a safe space for the hand in the event of a strong impact and/or accidental closure. But above all, it makes LKU01 URBAN the most compact and concealable push dagger.
Extremely versatile and functional, it is unparalleled at pointing, controlled cutting, and short-range combat modes. The pin, inspired by the bottom of a bullet shell, is mounted in a strategic area to allow a quick opening of the knife.
The Anticorodal aluminium handle scales feature a pinstripe motif that enhances its aesthetics, paying homage to Italian sartorial design. These grooves do not only have a decorative function. In fact, they allow an excellent grip, making it safer during extreme use.
The clip, made of stainless steel, is removable and reversible to ensure ambidextrous use. Its shape recalls a horseshoe in honor of the Italian fighters of the 1800s and 1900s, who used to keep many lucky charms, including this symbol.

Das Kobra ist - wie alle anderen Modelle von Lotar - hochaggressiv! Muss man mögen.
Normalerweise nicht so mein Ding, merkwürdigerweise hat mich das Teil aber sehr gekickt. Handling des Messers, die Verarbeitung, und Packaging ist Sahne.

Es entsteht ein ambivalentes Gefühl, wenn man dieses Messer in der Hand hält. Einerseits ist das gut! Aber wenn man das in der Hand herumwirbelt, erkennt man, dass es besser wäre, wenn die Messerklinge 2 cm kürzer seien könnte…
klassisches, sehr universelles Messer mit hervorragender Kydex Scheide (Wert ca. 80 Euro) und Feuerstahl (ca. 20 Euro) und damit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis (mein Kaufpreis 192 Euro). Die 3.6mm starke S35VN Klinge ist dünn genug um gut zu schneiden und dick genug um um im Notfall auch batonen und Holz splitten zu können (falls man erstaunlicherweise weder Beil noch Säge dabei haben sollte). Die Ergonomie passt für mittlere und grosse Hände.
